Terms and Conditions

  1. By subscribing, you certify that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions and shall abide by all rules and regulations relating thereto as defined in the terms here listed.
  2. Services provided to subscribers (hereafter referred to as Users) by Hazokampos Productions LLC (hereafter referred to as the Company) include the following dependent on patronage levels as described on our Membership Perks page.
    1. Written narrative
    2. Audiobook/Audiodrama rendition of written works
    3. Weekly member games
    4. Behind the scenes videos
    5. Live Q&A sessions
  3. Conditions of use
    1. Users will be granted access to the various works produced by the Company via hazokampos.com (hereafter referred to as the Website) and the affiliated official discord channel dependent upon their subscription tier selection as described above and upon compliance with all rules herein stated. All rules are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Company.
  4. Applicable Laws
    1. As the Company is registered in the state of Washington, the Company is governed by the laws therein. By visiting the Website, Users agree that they will abide by all laws for their region and that if any conflict should arise, disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of the state of Washington.
  5. Rules
    1. Violations of intellectual property:
      1. Definition: Any and all contents produced by the Company and published on the Website or other connected platforms including but not limited to written chapters, music, musical themes, audio files, images, drawings, sketches, videos, and logos are the sole property of the Company. Users shall make no attempts to:
        1. Reproduce, republish, or redistribute Intellectual Property of the Company without the express written permission of the Company
        2. Download, modify, or tamper with the Intellectual Property, website, website functionality, or administration of the website, discord server, or other Company functions
    2. Abusive or inappropriate behavior:
      1. Participation in live interactions, including but not limited to those on the discord server and during live stream events, should be kept appropriately civil and respectful. Use or proliferation of the following shall be a violation of these terms:
        1. Any form of hate speech or language that is discriminatory on the basis of race, nationality, sex, gender, orientation, religion, or disability
        2. The issuance of threats, harassment, coercion, solicitation, or incitement
        3. Any speech which is defamatory or injurious to or about other members of the community
        4. Invasions of personal privacy including but not limited to doxxing, hacking, copying or screenshotting of messages either in the channel or private messages
        5. Dissemination of lewd or pornographic text, images, gifs, stickers, emojis, etc.
        6. Attempts to impersonate members of the Company or other members of the community
      2. Usernames on the server may not include:
        1. Any form of hate speech or language that is discriminatory on the basis of race, nationality, sex, gender, orientation, religion, or disability.
        2. Language which is deliberately lewd, sexual, violent, or profane
      3. Moderation and Waiver of Liability
        1. The Company reserves the right, but is not obligated to moderate conversations and interactions in the official discord server, and to take any measures deemed necessary to enforce compliance of the above stated rules, including but not limited to:
      4. Account sharing
        1. Account sharing is prohibited. One account should be used by one person.
      5. Remedies:
        1. The Company reserves the right to enforce these terms and conditions commensurate with the offense committed.
          1. Violations of intellectual property rules will be treated with zero tolerance and may result in legal action in accordance with intellectual property laws of the United States of America
          2. Violations of User behavior rules will be investigated and may result in:
            1. Deletion of messages, images, emojis etc.
            2. Muting of offending Users
            3. Insistence that Users alter or remove usernames which violate the rules stated above
            4. Restriction or revocation of User’s access privileges
          3. Violations of Account sharing rules may result in restriction or revocation of Users’ access privileges or account.
  6. Privacy Policy
    1. User’s Personal Information
      1. With the exception of information provided willingly by Users in the process of subscribing to the Company’s services, the Company makes no deliberate attempts to collect or retain User’s personal information.
        1. Personal information includes but is not limited to User’s legal name, date of birth, address, financial information, social security number, 
      2. Payment information provided by Users in the process of subscription is collected by the payment processing company (Patreon or Stripe) and is not collected or retained by the Company.
      3. The Company does not purchase, sell, or publish the personal information of Users to third parties.
      4. The Company may use the email address provided for subscription to send Users emails for the purpose of:
        1. Providing updates about ongoing transactions, claims, or client queries
        2. Providing information about changes in terms, conditions, subscriptions, or accounts
        3. Providing information about the delivery of goods or services as part of special events
        4. Promoting special events, bonuses, etc.
    2. Live Streams and channels
      1. Users who participate in live streamed events acknowledge that their interactions with the hosts will be streamed and published via the Company’s channels.
      2. Users accept sole responsibility for the dissemination of any information they willingly share within the discord or other live channels, including but not limited to their interactions with the hosts and other Users during live streams.
        1. The Company shall not be held liable for the dissemination of Users’ information that they willingly share in channels during live streams. The Company recommends that Users be diligent in protection of their own information during these events and not share personal information in these settings.
  7. Payment issues
    1. Payment for services by the Company are managed through Patreon and Stripe. Any issues which arise related to transactions and payments should be addressed to the customer service departments of the service provider by which the User made their transaction.
  8. Amendment:
    1. The Company reserves the right to alter or amend these terms and conditions at any time and for any reason.
      1. Changes to these terms and conditions will be communicated to all Users.
    2. The Company reserves the right to alter or amend membership tiers and their affiliated perks at any time and for any reason.
      1. Changes to the tiers or their affiliated perks will be communicated to Users.
