Anselme MacFhionnlaigh, Primi Ordine of the highly secretive CECIC, finds himself embroiled in an off-the-books mission involving Project Kamiumi and the many parties plotting to steal it, which will have him questioning the loyalty of those in his own agency and wondering who will try to kill him next after a brief introductory lunch with his new co-Primi Ordine, Dr. Kristensen, is interrupted by a junior colleague and an attempted assassination allegedly plotted by the enigmatic Prometheus.
